What ever your belief or religion, whoever you choose your God to be, (I like to refer to G.O.D – Guardian Of Destiny), you cannot deny there is a higher power, a Master Creator of our beautiful planet.
I am a Noetic and Progressive Skin Therapist and I love the natural active ingredients professional products provide for my advanced skin treatments, they are very much results driven. I do also use natural ingredients that are more healing and nourishing that I blend myself in my Invigorlift and Fifth Concept treatments using pulverized crystals, essential oils and many other indulgent delights to benefit the mind and soul as well as the skin.
Essential Oils are a passion of mine, they are plant hormones, the plants ‘life force’. They detoxinate, hydrate and oxygenate the skin but also lift emotion and enhance mental clarity. PLEASE NOTE: Never apply pure essential oils directly onto the skin and always consult with a qualified Aromatherapist before blending or applying onto the skin – essential oils can be very volatile and have adverse reactions if used incorrectly.
Pre Blended oils are the safest to use for the skin and body they absorb through the skin by ‘trans-cutaneous absorption‘. The molecules of pure essential oils absorb via the sebaceous follicles. Remember we are talking about the ‘pure essential oils’ not the carrier oils or base creams that allow for transportation of the essential oils and basic hydration of the surface layers.
The DNA of plants are extremely close to that of human DNA – the order of AGCT is just arranged differently in plant DNA
I have written about essential oils because I was sent the most GORGEOUS box of goodies from Bodhi & Birch – I have to say I don’t usually do reviews on products other than my Professional ones or of Course MARSTE Spa BUT!!! I was SO impressed with the quality and ethos of Bodhi & Birch’s range that I had to share!
The first thing was of course the ‘FREE FROM’ label.. No parabens, petrochemicals, phthalates, sulphates and many more nasties that I rant on about on twitter so music to my ears!
I use Himalayan salts in treatment with the Master Spa Body Butters, Himalayan Salt is something I recommend clients to use in diet, in their baths and also to use salt lamps in their home. Himalayan Salt absorbs the negative ions in the atmosphere and to use in a scrub is a great way to ground as well as exfoliate. The Bodhi and Birch Rosemary Chi is simply divine. With a base of Organic Shea Butter, Grape Seed Oil and Olive Squalane it will leave your skin not only hydrated but immersed in nutritional and anti oxidant goodness. The essential oil blends are that of Rosemary, Geranium, Petitgrain and Cedarwood all that stimulate, revive and awaken.
Facial oils are a given for a Facialist, for me they are the real deal when optimising skin health. As mentioned they oxygenate, hydrate and detoxinate so even if you suffer with blemishes facial oils are great! Remember facial oils SHOULD have natural vegetable oil bases not paraffin, mineral or synthetic properties that do clog the skin. Like attracts like, so oils will actually attract oil and surface impurities. Impactions and skin congestion contain bacteria, dead skin cells, sweat and sebum, bacteria thrives in an ANEROBIC state (no oxygen) and guess what! essential oils OXYGENATE killing bacteria.
This dream blend facial oil just smells amazing, you know you have quality when the sense of smell is excited by decadent aromas of Tunisian Neroli, rejuvenating Frankincense and restorative Sea Buckthorn oil. This is an oil that is ideal for the congested skins, those that need to have a bit of rejuvenation and ‘life’ breathed into it.
This facial oil, for me, is the crème de la crème. The blend consists of Bulgarian Damask Rose Otto, Organic Argan Oil and Rosehip Seed Oil. It is abundant in nourishing, healing, hydrating and rejuvenating benefits for the skin.
Essential oils resonate and Rose has the highest resonance making it an amazing oil to uplift mental and emotional states, along with being a very scared oil used in religious rituals in many parts of the world.
Top tip: This oil is great to place on the soles of the feet at bed time if mood is a little low. The feet are the roots of the tree and they will absorb the essential oils to help with a restless mind.
I will be Periscoping (@marie_Reynolds) soon about these fabulous products so look out for me to announce on Twitter (@marie_Reynolds)
A human being is a part of the whole, a part limited in time and space. He experiences himself, his thoughts and feeling as something separated from the rest, a kind of optical delusion of his consciousness. This delusion is a kind of prison for us, restricting us to our personal desires and to affection for a few persons nearest to us. Our task must be to free ourselves from this prison by widening our circle of compassion to embrace all living creatures and the whole of nature in its beauty.
