The ingredients in this wonder product are… ready…
Green Grass Juice Powder
Green cereal grasses are very different from mature grains in nutritional and chemical composition. Harvested just prior to the jointing phase, these grasses are at the height of potency, enzymatic activity, and nutrient content, allowing for easy assimilation. Especially noted for their content of chlorophyll, vitamin K, vitamin E, minerals, lutein, and beta carotene, these juices are low-temperature dried to preserve enzymatic activity and heat-sensitive nutrients.
Oat: Nourishing to the nervous system and relaxing to the muscular system, oat grass is known primarily for its immune supportive beta glucan content.
Kamut: An ancient Egyptian grain, kamut is an alkalizing nutrient that naturally encourages pH balance.
Barley: Nutrient dense and utilized for thousands of years, barley grass is renowned for its superoxide dismutase (SOD) content, which naturally helps neutralize the effects of oxygen-free radicals produced during energy metabolism.
Leaf Powder
Grown in rich soil, dark leaf vegetables are pivotal to optimal health. Life giving and health protecting, cruciferous vegetables in particular are sources of two important nutrients: the phytonutrient sulforaphane, which stimulates enzymes that encourage detoxification, and glucosinate, a sulfur-containing, cell-protective compound. The oxygen-free freeze drying processing method captures and retains their rich nutritional benefits.
Kale: Noted for providing vitamins C, A and especially vitamin K, kale is also a source of calcium, flavonoids such as β-carotene, lutein and zeaxanthin. This dark green leaf can also boast of its alpha-linoleic acid (ALA) content — the omega-3 fatty acid essential for brain health.
Collard: The nutritious collard leaf is a source of soluble and insoluble fiber that is helpful in maintaining proper cholesterol levels. One of the phytonutrients provided is Di-indolyl-methane, found to be effective in supporting normal immune functions.
Sprouts
Sprouts, as a phase of development, provide an astonishing array of amino acids, enzymes, vitamins and phytonutrients. In essence, the enzymes in sprouted foods create a predigested food, further enhancing nutrient assimilation. Harvested at the peak of their development, these sprouts are flash-frozen, immediately freeze-dried and quickly cold-milled into a fine powder.
Broccoli: Broccoli sprouts contain concentrations of the compound glucoraphanin, a precursor to sulforaphane, which is supportive of enzymes that are cytoprotective.
Amaranth: Considered a high quality complete protein, amaranth contains nine essential amino acids including lysine, which is crucial to many functions such as proper growth, conversion of fatty acids into energy, and cholesterol normalization.
Quinoa: This nutrient packed seed contains the familiar bioactive substances quercetin and kaempferol, both plant antioxidants that offer numerous health benefits. Quinoa is also a favorite as a plant protein and source of dietary fiber.
Whole Fruit/Fruit Juice Powders
Suggested by their rich pigments and hues, these juices are nourishing and nutrient dense. Vitamin C, the commonly known immune supportive antioxidant, stands out among the benefits. These fruits have been cold temperature-dried to preserve phytonutrient bioactivity.
Pomegranate: This red fruit, loaded with juice-filled seeds, contains a rare compound called punicalagin. Punicalagin is the major component responsible for pomegranate’s antioxidant and heart-health benefits.
Black Currant: This small, dark purple berry is loaded with nutrients. Along with its vitamin C content, the antioxidant anthocyanin is largely credited for providing a wide range of support, particularly to the cardiovascular and urinary systems. Other outstanding components are linoleic acid and iron.
