Acupuncture has been used and respected for thousands of years and used for many conditions. The use of fine needles are inserted into specific points along a meridian with the aim to bring balance and allow qi to flow.

Please note that the treatment may include scalp acupuncture, ear acupuncture, abdominal acupuncture, ear acupuncture,  cupping or moxa.

How it's done

  • STEP 1
  • Hairlike needles are placed gently into the acupuncture point and manipulated very gently to activate qi.

  • STEP 2
  • Electrotherapy may be applied to stimulate the qi. This is a very subtle stimulation. Moxa may also be placed onto the body or cupping

  • STEP 3
  • You will be left to relax with an eye mask and infra lamp red

  • STEP 4
  • Acupuncture needles will be removed after 30 minutes
