Filtered room air is passed through the device, which contains a catalyst to change the state of oxygen in the air. This Energised Air is then humidified by passing through a bottle of water and inhaled through a comfortable nasal cannula (nose tubes), placed just inside the nostrils.
Activated Oxygen Therapy treatment offers a very safe and natural way of improving the utilisation of oxygen within the body and enhancing the system’s cellular repair and regeneration mechanisms. As a treatment it cannot harm the body. Since it can generate significant healing and detoxification at a deep level, it is important to acknowledge an acclimatisation period, during which therapy sessions are gently built up, rather than immediately started at the highest settings and longest duration.
After your VItal Air therapy, please adhere to the following.
- Drink a good amount of water or other clear fluids after your session and the following 24 hours. This helps eliminate toxins from the body, avoids dehydration and can reduce fatigue.
- Eat a light diet for 24 hours after a session. This means eating easily digestible foods and avoiding heavy meals and very rich or fatty foods in order to allow the body all the resources possible to make the most of the therapy and optimise cellular healing and repair.
- Avoid stimulants such as caffeine (in tea, coffee, as well as soft drinks), alcohol and smoking for at least 12 hours after a session.
- Listen to your body as much as you can after a session. This is good advice generally, but especially important when receiving treatments.
How it's done

After a full consultation and testing of Activated Oxygen levels, a sterile nasal cannula will be fitted.
- STEP 2
Filtered room air is passed through the device, which contains a catalyst to change the state of oxygen in the air. This Energised Air is then humidified by passing through a bottle of water and inhaled through a comfortable nasal cannula (nose tubes), placed just inside the nostrils.
- STEP 3
While therapy is taking place you will be placed under the Celluma LED
- STEP 4
When therapy is completed the cannula is removed
- STEP 5
Aftercare is given.
